We are a language school focused on private classes via Skype.
Here you can find a group of native teachers that will customize each one of your lesson to help you achieve your goals.
You will receive your class material by email or Skype, and at the scheduled time your teacher will be online for your 55-minute class. By taking a free 30-minute trial class, you’ll be able to understand how it really works.
This is the million dollar question! There is no miracle – becoming fluent in another language requires time and dedication. You should take a lot into consideration: number of classes you take per week, your attendance, doing your homework, practicing the language while not in class (i.e. watching series, reading the news, etc.). In short, the more committed you are, the quicker you’ll get there.
After a few classes, your teacher will be able to give you an idea of how long it should take you to achieve your goals, as long as you keep attending classes as scheduled.
Once you have finished your free 30-minute trial class, we will get in touch with you by email and Skype (if you would rather contact us immediately after your class, even better!) and we will talk about your regular classes.
We will double-check with you your available times and days, you will receive your monthly plan, make the payment and that is it! Your teacher will be online for your classes!
Rescheduling and Booking classes
We work with a 4 hour cancelation policy (pretty generous huh?) so all you have to do is email your teacher directly (up to 4h before your class) and they will get back to you with available times for your make up class.
It’s important to remind you that classes must be rescheduled within the same month or the same period of time your package is valid for.
As most of our students have a fixed schedule, we ask students who study once a week to reschedule once a month. Two classes a week? You can reschedule 2 classes a month and so on. If you can’t commit to your planned schedule, we will contact you to find out your new availability.
We ask all students to contact us in case they can’t use all the classes they bought, before their package expires. We will do our best to accommodate new times or days for your classes. You can also transfer to friends or a family member.
Once your package expires, there is no refund. So always, always contact us!
Technical problems during your class
It’s essential that you have a good internet connection for your classes. A good internet connection will most unlikely fail exactly at the time of your class.
Our teachers should make use of good common sense, so it will always be up to them to decide to charge for a class that started and was interrupted or not.
Skype will usually only deliver messages when both contacts are online. Therefore we ask absolutely all students to send their teachers an email up to 4 hours in advance.
All our teachers must prove they have an excellent internet connection to be able to teach with us. But yes, it can happen.
They will do their best to be online for your classes, by going to a cyber cafe or a friend’s house. If it’s not possible, we will arrange with a substitute teacher to be online at the same time of your class for you.
Maybe a quick Skype setting change can fix it for you. Always check your Skype Tools, Options, Audio and Video Settings.
For better results, we ask students to use a simple headset during classes.
We accept all major credit cards, because we use PayPal.
As we have offices in the USA, in Brazil and in the UK, if you would like to do a bank transfer, it is possible as well. Please, contact us for more information.
Yes, as long as you gave us enough time to update the system and to inform your teacher that you are ready for your class. Please allow us at least 4 business hours to confirm – we (admin staff) don’t work weekends 🙂
